Went to use ACT today, got an error message that told me to check connection to server?? Try as I may, I could not open my data base. While looking for clues in this forum, I noticed a similar problem that was caused by windows auto update. I noticed an update loaded early AM. Restored the computer to the end of biz yesterday and problem was solved. This after two hours of my time wasted! So, moderator, are you telling me to disable Windows update because you can't keep up with the revisions from MS?? I want the updates AND I want reliability from my contact database software. How do I achieve this?
