Every morning on the server the ACT2011 service shuts off..i have to restart it. Thought it might be backup causing it to stop. Shut that off but still did it....is there something else i could try...thanks

Check for Windows Updates/Automatic Updates attempting to apply for SQL. If there are SQL updates attempting to apply, they will shut down the service > fail to apply (because ACT7 instance is password protected) > leave service stopped.
