I had to wipe my computer and restore it to factory after a bad virus. I re-installed ACT 2010 and input my serial number. The serial number does not work. Not sure if it's due to ACT changing from Sage some time back. Is there a fix for this?

Your serial number should work just fine, even after the transition from Sage Software. We're still using the same serialization system and verification product (Protexis). If you would like, you can email me your Serial Number to Billy.Clark@swiftpage.com and I can verify that it is provisioned correctly, and that it's an appropriate number.
