Hello Act Community,
Well after finally getting my old XP ACT 2009 synchronized to my Windows 7 PC, I continued to run into networking issues between the two platforms. Nothing to do with ACT. I purchased a new Windows 8 laptop today and am in the process of Installing ACT 2009 and got stuck when prompted that my new laptop does not support Microsoft SQL Server 2005. I went online but didn't get what the Microsoft Knowledgebase was telling me.
I'm guessing there's an updated version of SQL Server that needs to be installed. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get ACT 2009 to work on my new laptop Windows 8 platform?
