We have an employee who has a Vista machine. We all use ACT 2009. For some reason, lately when he lets his computer go to sleep, then when he wakes it up and tries to open an ACT databse (does not matter which one), it says the database could not be accessed. In order to access this database, check your network connection and verify that your database server is available.... etc. It's like once the computer goes to sleep, the server doesn't turn back on.
Does this make any sense? Is there anything we can do aside from reinstalling?

So are finding that the reason for this is that the SQL Server services is stopping when the computer hibernates? Is the user accessing a shared database or a local database?
