ACT 2009 is hosted on my laptop and set to share. We have a server and another laptop. Can't host ACT on server due to Outlook email Exchange system.
Seperate licenses for ACT on the two laptops.
Problem is that periodically the other laptop is asked to register and this had to be done before the database will open.
Why does it ask to register again and again? How can this be corrected?
I made sure my ACT is marked to "share" the database.
I rebooted my laptop this afternoon and maybe that triggered something asking for the other laptop's ACT to register again.
Though I reboot two to four times a day and it doesn't ask for the re-registration every time.
