I am still using the old style program.
Currently, I send letters out to 15 new members at a time off a template. I would like to get these numbers calculating in "Letters Sent" under Latest activity and have it show up on my History Classic report.
Where do I add the date I am sending the letters so it will autocalculate under letters sent????

A history will need to be recorded for the contact with results 'Letter Sent'. You should get a prompt to record history when printing the letter. This will update the letter sent field automatically for you.
You can pull up the record history prompt a different way.
Act! Word Processor
File menu > Record History
Add-Ins tab > ACT! > Record History

i practiced with what you said.
My letter opens in Word. it does give me ACT under add-ins. There is no "record" in the word document.
i am able to attach the letter to the contact in ACT.
i can manually click "letter sent" under Record history.
It does not calculate in the "letters sent" for the report. is there a way i can see where that is calculating?
