ACT! 2008 and Outlook 2007 Help

ACT! 2008 and Outlook 2007 Help

I have a laptop that has ACT! 2008 and Outlook 2007. ACT! will send e-mails from Outlook but Outlook no longer recognizes ACT! (the icons are missing on it and the tab under tools, options is missing to record history)

 

Does anyone have any idea why I can't get the ACT! add in features on Outlook now? I regularly update my Microsoft if that helps. All of the options in ACT! are set up and I tried to remove and reattach my ACT! address book (and restarted the computer several times).

Hum...

 

Try this for beginning:


   1. Open Outlook.
   2. Click the Tools and select Trust Center.
   3. Select Add-ins from the menu on the left side of the screen.
   4. At the bottom of the screen, in the Manage drop down list, select COM Add-ins and click Go.
   5. The COM Add-Ins dialog window appears, ensure that ACT! Outlook AddIn is checked.
   6. Click OK.
   7. Restart Outlook.
