Upgraded to ACT! 2008 in May - all in all - things going fine. Have a remote user - able to sync successfully unit July 14, 2008.
Now - getting an error message - 'synchronization has failed. Exchange of watermarks failed. The database cannot sync because data is unavailable'
Anyone with ideas or experience on how to resolve?

I have the same problem as described. I have been synchronizing daily with no issues until now. Others in my company are still able to synchronize with no problems. I searched the support knowledge base and the solution proposed was to create a new remote database and install that one and synchronize. However, I still get the same problem after doing this. I have also tried database maintenance and still have the problem.
