I have just reinstalled ACT 2008 and all my old activities are still showing up as crossed out. I have went in under filter calendar - Options - and then cleared the show cleared check box and then it removes everything. I close down ACT and reopen and my settings have not been saved. Any suggestions on how to keep the "Show Cleared" box unchecked?

This may be due to a damaged ACT! preferences file. Please follow the steps in the following Knowledgebase article to rebuild the preferences file:
