Please help! I have ACT! 2007 (V9) and my company recently pushed the Service Pack 3 to our laptops and now my ACT! won't open. I keep getting this error message:
"The "." character , hexadecimal value 0x00, cannot be included in an name. Line 1371, position 12."
Any ideas as to what the problem is? I'm desperate because I can't access my database. Please help!

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. The error sounds like an issue with a configuations file. This may have occurred as a result of the update to SP3. If you have not already done so, I would advise uninstalling ACT! via the Control Panel, rebooting your machine, and then reinstalling.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
