We have ACT 2007 on a Terminal server which has been working fine with no problems - the last caouple of days we have not been able to open - flash screen comes up then locks/ hangs on next screen only thing you can do is a force close.
This is the same on remote desktop or running on the terminal server itself.
Log view does not show anything - the Event viewer only says the following after the you End ACT2007 as it is not responding.
Event ID 1002
Hanging application ActSage.exe, version 18.104.22.168, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

- I have also remove the Last Database opened within registry incase that was upsetting it.
Any clues or help will be most appreciative.

ActSage.exe only reaches 25% on CPU usage.
After the flash screen appears the Act just hangs and in task manager the App is classed as Not Responding.

Thanks for the reply - tried what you suggested - could not find the 10 digit alphnumeric .sys files in system32 even after unhiding op sys files.
But completed eveything else and same problem occurs - at first did not load flash screen but now only gets that far.

Thanks for your help so far - do you have any more suggestions of what could be the problem or do you think I need to uninstall completly and re-install from scratch?

I un-installed twice - complete ACT 2007 and SQL 2005 Express ACT7 Instance but we still have the same problem after re-install - Server was rebooted at appropriate places.
Can anyone else help with this type of problem or if a potential app could cause a problem?
