ACT 2007 - Exporting database to Excel

Hello,

I need to export my ACT database to excel or CSV, but the export tool opens a wizzard that only allows me to export as a txt file or ACT database file. Why doesnt it allow me to export as CSV or excel? How do I go around this.

Please advise.

Thanks!

If you select test and go a few steps into the wizard you will get the choice of comma or tab as the delimited. Tab is the preferred as the delimited because there can't be a tab character in an ACT! field. Either delimited will be accepted by Excel.

I'm pretty sure Roy meant 'select text'. As in start the export process (File > Export > selecting the 'Text' option for output.
