ACT 2005 v 7 conversion to 2011

I can't locate the CLY and ADT templates from my ACT 2005---where should they be? What folders? ALSO, what is the extension for the report templates?

 

I REALLY need the customized layout...poor eyesight makes the basic one difficult plus much data is hiding....

Still no joy, found the .cly files but does not show up on the "convertable" lists.  Ditto all of my custom ADT and RPT files.  I see them on the computer but not in these lists!!!

If I am understanding what you are doing, the "convert" function is for ACT! ver 6 and prior - not from ACT! 200x to 200x...

Used the standard conversion method as determined by Sage, help from the technical support phone. I did not see this issue until long after I hung up.....why can't I find the files using the converter function? Seems very strange.  I even moved them to the same folder that the 2011 uses to store templates, based on where it stores them when you make a new custom layout for example.

 

Frustrating.

Was it from ACT! 2004 (6.0) or 2005 (7.0)?
What word processor have you set up to use?

onversions was from 2005/version 7.   I had Word 97 on the old machine, now on the 2010 version.

I really don't recall...the Sage technical service person simply took over my machine and did it remotely!
