I have a database conversion problem. I select Standard conversion and my custom fields come across (along with the custom layout) however all of the feilds are grayed out so to speak. You can enter anything in them and they appear to contain no data.
I have another database with nearly the same customizations that came across just fine.

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. This could mean that your custom fields did not get properly assigned on your layout.
- Go to Tools/Define Fields and verify that your custom fields are in the field list
- Go to Tools/Design Layouts/Contact
- In the Layout Designer, locate the labels for your custom fields on the template. You may notice that the labels are there, but the white field box is empty. - If this is the case, then double-click on the empty field box and assign the appropriate field from this list. Do this with all unassigned field holders and save the layout.
