I'm still trying to figure out for ACT! 16 Pro how to get Office 2013 installed so I can use the two together. Need for ACT! 16 Pro to work for merging letters and for e-mail merges.
Reading the ACT! compatibility documents, most of the detail refers to Outlook 2013.
Is it only Outlook 2013 that needs to be a local install?
In other words, will ACT! Pro v16 work ok wtih Word 2013 for merges and Excel 2013 for import/export if installed as click to run (CTR)?
If it's just Outlook, would it make sense for me to find old licenses for Outlook 2010 (local install) and use something like Office 2013 Home and Student (with their click to run installation)?
In some of the discussions there are pointers to links for trial Office 2013. Do these still work?
2 new Windows 8.1 systems.
Already have Office Home Premium 365 for 5 PC or Macs and 1 Office Home and Business 2013 retail.
