ACT 10 Syncing Issues

I have two remote databases on ACT 10 (10.0.3.182, HotFix 1) and when we Sync the remote databases with the server all the templates and layouts end up with the date attached to the file name and then can't be found again.

 

I have called ACT Support and they said its a known issue, anyone have any suggestions for work arounds?

At this time there is no workaround.  The issue has been reported and there is a possibility the issue will be fixed in a hotfix for 10.0.3.  This has been resolved in 2009 11.1 hotfix 1.

So besides upgrading to ACT 11, I have to constantly rename all the files and layouts?

At this time, yes.  The hotfix should be released in the near future.
