ACT 10 APPCRASH

ACT 10 APPCRASH

i've just updated ACT from V 102191 to 1031820 via the automatic update service and when I now attempt to start ACT I get an APPCRASH and ACT won't start. I've tried rebooting [OS=Vista Ultimate SP1]. I've tried starting from the .pad file. Same result.

Mike,

 

You no longer see ACT! in add/remove programs?  You'll need to use the ACT! Uninstaller to remove ACT!.  I'll send you a link to a full 10.0.3 download via private message (yellow envelope in upper right corner) to reinstall the software.

Perhaps you misunderstood. Only the UPDATE does not appear in the add/remove programs. ACT itself does.

Re the PM file. Will it be compatable with the Australian version of ACT 10?

I don't want to now revert to a US version. I understand there are some major differences.

There won't be a seperate entry for just the update.  The link I gave you was for the US/CAN version.  I will try to find an Australian version.  It will be quicker to contact your local support for the link.
