It appears that the only way to get incoming email to post an entry in History is to Right Click each email and "Attach to Sender." BUT, even this action sometimes does not appear to be consistently attaching the email to the client record.

Depending on the version of ACT! you purchased you can configure it to use Outlook rules to attach as well.
There are also some 3rd party add-ons that do a much better job of reliably attaching emails from outlook to ACT!.

Thanks for the reply Mark.
We're not using the Outlook piece here, just the ACT! Email through a POP3.
But, what we did figure out is that the user with the problem was able to "Attach to Sender" if there was a valid email in the contact's record. It's the little things you know!
