I installed the 11.1 update on a Vista computer running ACT!2009. ACT now starts up with an error and does not run.
11.1 update seems to run fine on a Windows 2003 server and XP SP3.
Any ideas? Will a re-install fix the problem or is there a generic problem with 11.1 on Vista?

Anyone else have a similar issue with Vista?
Has anyone else upgraded their Vista system to 11.1? I am running fine on a XP machine and a Window 2003 server with 11.1.
For reference, the OS is Vista Business. UAC is turned off. Until I did the 11.1 update, the system ran fine for over 6 months without a hiccup.

Okay. I have no other problems with applications that use .Net 2.0 so I honestly doubt that it is the problem, but always a possibility.
Can I just install the update? Or do I need to reload from scratch?

That did fix the problem. At least from quick testing. Will do more detailed testing tonight as well as a synch. But everything looks ok at this point.
