We are running a brittle 6.0.3 Version of ACT!. A new employee has, I believe, inadvertantly changed a preference or option so that her ACT! will no longer save inserted notes. Can anyone help me find a way to fix this?

Is this a shared database? Also can you provide more information about when this happens and is there any error message?

This is a shared database, but none of the other users are experienceing the same problem. There is no erro message. When a note is added and the Enter key is hit, or the user moves to another area on the page (which usually saves the note) the curser pops into the next note box and the new note box disappears.
