Re: Upgrade from ACT 2000

You'll have to upgrade to ACT! 2008 to get compatibility with Office 2007

Re: Upgrade from ACT 2000

Also Tony, before you upgrade - how much RAM? How fast HDD (in RPM)?

These are far more important with ACT! 2008 than they were with ACT! 2000

Re: Upgrade from ACT 2000

Current Ram is 248 will up this tomorrow. HDD speed is 7200rpm.

I have already loaded upgrade but when I go to open my old d'base to get it converted i get the following mssg.

"The database cannot be opened because 1 or more files are missing. Reindex etc"

I have reindexed and also performed dignostics and all have green ticks etc, still same mssg?

HELP

Re: Upgrade from ACT 2000

Your getting this error while your trying to do the upgrade?

Before you go any further, confirm that you have a good back up of your database.

Then walk us through the exact steps your taking to convert the database.
