New member - using Act 2000 an have questions about Design Layout

I have used ACT 2000 for several years and have been able to get by with minor adjustments if the field names.

I am with a new company now and need to modify and add some fields.

The problem I am having is when I tab to the "next" logical field, the tab jumps all over the place to fields that should come much later.

It is jumping from Field 1 to Field 2 to Field 3 and so on; however, I cannot figure out how to change the field numbers to match were I want it to tab to because some of the field names cannot be found in the Define Fields dropdown.

I am having a hard time describing what it is doing and what I want it to do - hope this makes sense to someone out there.

Thanks!
