Moving an ACT! 6 database to a new PC

I'm replacing my home office PC and want to transfer my existing ACT! 6 database to a new PC on which the program is already installed. I think I understand how to back up the database on the old PC and restore it on the new one - and have already done a couple of what I believe were successful tests.

At the end of the second test restore, there were successive dialog boxes asking if I wanted to copy or overwrite certain files. What are they and what response(s) do you recommend?

They are probably your reports/templates/attachments from the first test restore.  When you do your 'real' restore, overwrite the files.
