Ah I think I see what you are trying to do and it's not going to happen. As i now understand thoe want the entire report to sort by the date time field in the note or history. Because the date time field you are referring to is in a sub-table and the primary table is the contact table, the report can;t be sorted that way. In fact the report editor with the latest version of the ACT! program would not provide that capability. However theer is a third party report editor that works with the laters version of the ACT! program that would be able to do the report you want.

Hi
Yes, I want a notes history report Sorted by Date Time.
Can I confirm this can be done with Seagate Crystal Reports 8.5 and Act! v6?

I don't know gut I doubt it because the part of the history entry is stored in the history table and part in the BLB table.
