Installing two versions of act

We currently have ACT 6 and would like to also install ACT 9 on the same computer.  Will ACT allow us to that do?   Please advise.

Also I know that ACT 9.0 will not work with 64 bit systems, but will it work with all 32 bit windows systems?   Please advise.

Thank you much!

Yes, you can install ACT! 6.0 and ACT! 9.0 on the same machine.  You can review system requirements in the KB article linked below.

To the first question, Yes. ACT! 9 does not work on Vista.

Re: Installing two versions of act

You can get ACT! 2007 (9.0) to install on Vista x32 as per this ACT! Knowledge Base article -

http://kb.sagesoftwareonline.com/cgi-bin/sagesoftwareonline.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2018...

But much better to upgrade to ACT! 2008, which properly supports Vista, or ACT! 2009, which also supports Vista x64
