How to add new colums in sales/opportunity

Could someone help me in explaining how to rename or add new columns fileds in sales/opportunity area???

ACT 6.0

would like to rename first or add new colums which different data from those available in the standard fields

That can't be done in ACT! 6. Later version have eight user fields in the opportunities and the opportunities allow multiple line items in a single opportunity. The user fields can be renamed, have dropdowns and changed data types. However, to get the full range of opportunity user field configuration you would need to get the premium version.

There is an add-on for ACT! 6.0 that added many additional fields - Sales Manager for ACT!

 

There is a trial you can download and see if it suits you.
