Hi I'm new to all of this and need some help. The sales assistant advised me that I could import information from Exel into my ACT. Can this be done and how?

Hi Rachel.
Sure it can be done. First save your Excel spreadsheet as a .csv (comma separated variable) file.
Then backup your database (in case it doesn't import OK and you need to restore) File -> Backup -> Database
Then File -> Import, starts the import wizard that walks you through the import - tricky bit is the field mapping. This is where you tell ACT where to put the data from your .csv file into which field in ACT.

Many thanks Trevor, I'll give it a go in the morning. I've gone a bit cross-eyed! lol. Very impressed with Sage so far. Only launched my business in April this year so figured I'd strike while the irons hot!
