Email Attach issue

I have an issue whereby when you attempt to attach an email to a contact within the Act! email client the program freezes. Upon exiting an error message appears stating 'actemail.exe' encoutered and error and had to be closed.

 

When viewing the contact back within the database the email fails to show in the notes/history section.

 

I cannot find any fixes or resolutions for this, can anyone advise please?

 

Not sure if it's directly affected but we use Office 2007 for our mail, and XP is the O.S.

You posted this in the ACT! 6.0 or earlier area... if that's the version of ACT! you're using it won't work properly with Office 2007.

 

Only ACT! 2008 (10.0) and later support Office 2007

You posted this in the ACT! 6.0 or earlier area... if that's the version of ACT! you're using it won't work properly with Office 2007.

 

Only ACT! 2008 (10.0) and later support Office 2007

Many thanks, we are using 6.0 so that explains it.
