E-mailing problem

The issue I am having with Act is that it will not email to all my email contacts. It will only to a select few in a bulk group, even when I have selected all.  So, I have to cut and paste each address and add to the contact information that an email has been sent.  In addition, when I do email and select all it’s as if the system has a glitch in it and will not read all the address.  I do have them entered properly.  It will pop up the persons name and company then, state that it is an invalid email address.

Which version of ACT! and email system are you using?

 

I've seen this happen if theres an invalid character in on of the email addresses.

You can try deleting the ABC and ABU database files, ACT! 6 will rebuilt them. That may fix the problem if those files are corrupted. However, I suspect that you have one or more invalid email addresses in the database. You can try to locate the invalid email address but you may want to contact an ACT! Certified Consultant regarding having the database repaired.
