Converting ACT 6 to ACT 2010

When converting from ACT 6 to ACT 2010 I received the "StartIndex cannot be less than zero" message, meaning that I have corrupted files. So I then did the reindexing, scan and repair, yet I still get the same message. Does anyone know what to do at this point?

Thanks

Kelly the best thing to do is to know where or whihc part of the conversion process is causing the problem notes and or history?

You coudl try running the scan and repair utility up to 4 times before doing the conversion again.

You might also try creating a new db in ACT! 6 and then importing the old one... this was a common way to clean data.

Another good utility to help is Red Flags. See:
