Convert .cly files created on a SQL version of ACT back to ACT6.0.3 format

I have an old ACT6.03 db that I want to use a layout file created by I believe was ACT v10 or 11. If I copy that .cly file from v10 or 11 to the ACT 6.0 layout folder, it appears in the Layout dropdown list but doesn't take. The layout won't change. I'm 99.99% sure it's because any original ACT 6.0 layouts had to be converted. So I'm hoping someone has a way to revert the .cly to an ACT6.x format.

Thanks you in advance

Re: Convert .cly files created on a SQL version of ACT back to ACT6.0.3 format

Hi,

From my experience as an ACC , it's not possible to convert back from Act! V10 to Act! v6 format.

I am afraid you will have to recreate your layout in v6.0.3

foures: Thank you for the fast reply. Not the answer I was hoping for but was expecting what you said. At least I know where I stand with my task.
