I am a retired guy and use Act! 6.03, on an XP Home Op Sys. These days I mostly use Act! to store my contacts and schedule my daily To Do chores. I have 2 databases, and now choose to create a 3rd.
I am trying to change Field Names on the 15 Fields of the 'Contact Info Screen'. Act! Help tells me to go to Edit, Define Fields, choose Contact from the Record Type list, and select the field from the List Box, and type in the new Field Name in the Attributes Tab. And, I do all that.
Help says, "The change is made only to the open database." However the change also occurs in my other 2 databases, and I don't want to do that.
Can someone help me please?
