When the ACT db is opened, it is throwing this message.
An error occured while opening this database. It may be damaged, or missing a component. Do you want to try to restore the database?
The ACT is not running on Novel netware as it was mentioned in a knowledge base article.
However, for people already logged in the database, it is working fine.
It never had a problem like this for so many years of being used, just today it started occuring..

We are using ACT 6!
We have multiple ACT databases on a Network Share. More than 30-40 people login into the same ACT databases.
It was working fine until today for so many years. Suddenly, we have this error popping up on users screen on few specific databases only.
1. We want to find what could have really caused this problem.
2. How can we fix this up now.

Thanks for the response. We are able to get this fixed and running. However, we are more interested to find why or how it really happened.
Can u explain what do u mean (and what could have caused the database corruption) by the below sentence u mentioned.
>>If everyone is using the same database, it could be a corrupted activity, that would be user specific

You've come to the rescue it seems.
I posted a can't start ACT! 10 because of an "Object reference not set to an object" error. That's no a familiar ACT! error.
Could it be a Vista thing?
Please keep in mind that not opening ACT! is putting me so far in arrears.
