Attach a doc to each contact in a Mail Merge?

Docs written via mail merge for multi contacts cannot be attached automatically to each contact. The tick box is greyed out and cant be activated - any suggestions?

If you would like to have a copy of what you sent out in the previous mailmerge campaign you could attach a copy of the template you used to each of the contact in the lookup. To accomplish that do the following: + Lookup the contacts you mailmerged to previously + Click View > Contact List or type F8 + Either go into tag mode and say tag all or use edit mode and click the first contact in the list then hold down shift and click the last contact in the list + Contact > Attach File or Type Control-I + Specify a document and click OK The single document will be attached to each contact in the listview.

Think about it, the mail merge creates a single document with a page for each contact. So you do a mail merge to 100 contacts you create a 100 page document then you would attach a copy of this 100 page document to each contact. That's a lot of storage.
