I have a database from 1995. Believe its from ActWin2. My version 6.0 doesn't recognize it.
There are file names ending in MUD,MDX,NDX,NDB,DES,PQL,ADX etc. but no DBF
Is that the problem? And is it possible to get a DBF file. My current computer uses Windows 7 Home premium
Someone please advise, Thank you

The DBF file is the file that contains the bulk of your data. The database is basically corrupt without your original DBF file that is related to all of the associated files. You cannot simply add a DBF file with even the same name. You will need the original version of the DBF file that belongs to the database. Also if you had the original file you would be ale to open it with any database viewer or tool that supported database drivers for FoxPro or Dbase. You may even be able to open the file in Excel. Are you sure that someone has not done this and saved the file with a different extension, such as .XLS?
