Act Version = 5
OS = Windows Server 2008 32-bit
Shared database on the network.
I'm logged into the PC as a domain admin and logged into Act as an administrator. When attempting to delete a contact, the progress bar shows at 100% and stops there. The CPU spikes to 100% and also stays there. Act is then frozen and no longer responds. Need to end task to get out. Can anyone help?

Hi Will,
i would try to run ACTDiag, it may fix the issue,
anyway, when runing act on a 2008 OS, you must keep in mind that act5 was developed at least 8 years before this OS did aproch the market. I strongly recomend to update ACT to ACT16, as you will then gain, OS support, Outlook support and other things, like companys, and if you go for the Premium version Act via WEB
if you face issues due to the converting, we offer the converting as a flat fee, you may want to look at this
