Act 6, Windows 7, Outlook 2007, and attaching email

I have a new laptop with Windows 7 32-bit. I have no difficulties installing Act! and getting it to run, with at least some of its functionality intact. However, Office XP is installed, but that version of Outlook will not remember its email password under Win7, so I have installed Outlook 2007. The email password is no longer a problem, but how do I get email to attach to the Act! contact? I have tried to get Outlook to accept Act! as an additional address book, but that fails with this message: "The account you added is not fully configured. It might not work until reconfigured correctly." (I got this same message when trying to do this under Outlook 2002, too.) So those are my two issues - Act! as an additional address book, and attaching email received in Outlook to Act! contacts. Thanks to all!

It won't happen, ACT! 6 won't work with Office 2007.
