I had a new primary hard drive installed in my old Dell desktop. I was running 2000 and the tech was to ghost everything over to the new drive and make it primary. He had a problem and I wound up with a new installation of 2000. Act is still present on old disk (now secondary) but will not open. Says it is damaged or not properly installed. Any way I can recover what was in the registry? Any way I can recover license number (can't find disk)?
I have a recent backup of most critical database and I backed up the whole drive to an external drive, just before taking it to the shop.

I'd reinstall ACT!... you probably have the registry pointing at the wrong locations
BTW: ACT! 2000 is ACT! 5, not ACT! 6

Thanks. I must clarify.
It is Windows 2000 I am running and Act 6.0.3. I can't reinstall, because I cannot find Disk.
