Act 6 Layout problem

Act 6 Layout problem

In haste switched off the contacts screen, i.e details of address etc.  Now all I can see in contacts is the history, activities etc. Relaoding layouts does not change this either, any ideas!

Here is my best guess.  Take your mouse and move it slowly from the middle of the screen to the bottom or top of the screen.  At some point you should see the cursor change to a double sided arrow.  At this point double click.

 

If double click doesn't work, try a click and drag back toward the center of the screen.

Thanks for the suggestion but the screen just remains blank all I can alter is the bottom history/ activities etc. The contact info just will not show!

Ok, here's another thought. First, go to edit, Preferences and on the General Tab to the right is a list of ACT components (one of them layouts) and the location of each. Swithc to the layouts and on the box below make note of the file location.  Go to that location and see if there are actually layouts there?

 

Another Question? Can you switch to another layout (bottom right of the screen?

 

Finally, if possible, take screen shot an post here.
