For years i have been using act on 4 pc's with word 2003. Sporadically every 6 months or so one will stop working when you want to write a new letter. You click letter or the template and word never opens. If you look in taks manager you will see winword running i end task open word and you will see the template without any of the merged data as a recovered document.
if you leave word open and try to do it it just opens the template with no merge. It used to be that i could uninstall act and re-install it and it would work again, but that is not working.
I would like to find out why it is happening and also how to get it to work on the pc it seems to not want to work...
I have uninstalled and reinstalled office 2003 and act several times... and then i apply the 6.03 patch, the hotfix, and the word 2003 hotfix.
ANYONE... PLEASE HELP!!!!!
