Is it supposed to work with ACT! 6.0?
Have you contacted the manu8facturer of Laser App?
Does it have an error you can post here?

I called Laser App and they told me that the program is working as it's supposed to and that something to do with the Act database is causing it to not open. I have this on another computer and it works fine with the database in the same file location.
The error says "The database: database name could not be opened."

Basically, the support person at Laser App said that their plug in utility was trying to open the act database and that the act database was not there. I have tried to run the utility with the demo database as well with no success. I have been having several problems with the act program (email will not work for example) and I am curious if the program itself is corrupt and that is why the database cannot be recognized by laser app.

Maybe re-installing ACT! is the next thing you can try.
Also, make sure the version in ACT!'s Help | About is the same on the system that doesn't work as it is on the one that works

with version 11 they give the same uselessness of a response.
Error is 'Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed'
they blame the database even if using a demo or new db

I can't even get to that link...
