I have been using for a long time Eudora 7 as the email client for ACT! 6.03, mostly for synchronizing with another user via email.
All went fine until I downloaded and installed (although didn't configure) the open source Eudora
(Eudora OSE) in a different folder.
After this installation, whenever I wanted to use ACT!'s email I got a message that I need to set up the email in ACT!, and Eudora wasn't recognized as an email system in the email set up wizard. The only systems recognized were Internet Mail, Outlook and Outlook Express.
Uninstalling Eudora OSE didn't help. Another PC of mine with the same Op Sys (Win XP) wasn't affected - maybe because I didn't install the new Eudora there.
How to make my ACT recognize Eudora again?
