ACT 2000 - Syncing

We have an ACT 2000 Database with 5 remote users.  We sync daily but one of the users is not able to see all the records that are updated.  I am recieving and sending sync packets to him but his database is missing information from everyone elses information.

The database everyone is syncing with is on a Windows 2000 Machine and remote users are utilizing Windows XP.

Thanks!

Re: ACT 2000 - Syncing

Are you doing direct database synchronization or are you setup for synchronization with other users?

Re: ACT 2000 - Syncing

We will do a direct sync to update both his database as well as our database so we all can see the same info...but we normally have him set up for remote sync just like all the other remote users via e-mail.

Re: ACT 2000 - Syncing

With five sync users, you need to use synchronization with other users and you can't use the direct database synchronization at all. At this point your synchronization is compromised and you will need to setup synchronization properly from the beginning. Here are document IDs for the knowledge base documents you need to properly setup synchronization with ACT! 2000.
