A question I was posed by a co worker

She is an Act! 6 user and her question is this:

 

When she creates an activity it does not create a note


She wants it to create a note as soon as she creates an activity.


If she then goes and marks it complete or not complete or in progress or whatever, it will of course create an associated note, but she wants one to appear as soon as she makes any new activity, so she has a record of that activity.

 

Is there any way to do this?

No, and I think they mean history rather than note. The task list is where you have a list of the open activities.

Well either or really.

 

Its a note/history tab

 

and nothing at all shows up on that tab when they create an activity

 

is there any way that a note OR history can be created when an activity is made?

No. Notes and History are separate things but no to both when the activity is created. As before, that's what the task list is for.

A Note/History is for something in the past
