6.0.3.979 email will not start up

Have ACT! 6.0.3.979

Email function does not work.  When we try to send an email, the program trys to open but gets hung up.

Any ideas?

What email client - Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes, Internet Mail?

Mine is doing the same but I use Acts Internet Mail

What operating system are you running on? ACT! 6 depended on borrowing DLL from Outlook Express. Have you tried configuring the ACT! email to use Outlook Express?
