unable to create a contact activity by new history type I careated

Hi

I created a new history type called Christmas Candy by creating an activity which built a new history type called Christmas Candy.  In the History type in the drop down I have Christmas Candy Delivery as an option now.

 

When I go to Lookup/Contact Activity as pictured I have the option under activities but not under histories

 

We usually run our reposts by meeting held type under histories.   Anyway that the new history I created called Christmas Candy can be an option?

 

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is that when you created the new Activity type you didn't edit the default results and left them as Completed and Not Completed. If so those will be the history types.

My guess is that when you created the new Activity type you didn't edit the default results and left them as Completed and Not Completed. If so those will be the history types.

Right, I usually create the type of activity and I call the result with the same name...

Or just edit the default results and append it to beginning - eg. "Christmas Candy Completed".
