terminal server and ACT! 2009 Premium EX and Outlook 2003

AC!T 2009 Premium EX om TS is working fine exept for outlook mails to history.

Mails are in the history queue but arent added to history in ACT!

When users are granted with Administrtor level rights its working, of course this isnt a real solution.

after removing users from administrator group and giving the users full control to:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.DIANA\Application Data\ACT\ACT for Windows 11

it is working also.

But this isnt a solution as well, why do need users full rights to an admin directory ?

changing the registry and change administrator to user name and giving full right to folder isnt working

is there another solution?

The database doesn't have to be in that location.  You can move the database anywhere as long as its local.

thanks for your reply

but this hasnt anything to do with database location

its about email attaching (NOT) in history (when using terminal server)

and applying admin rights to admin folder to make it work

Actually the database location does matter.  I'm assuming the Windows users aren't administrators.  Since your database is located in the Administrator's user profile, they will not have appropriate permissions until you set them.

If you're getting file not found error message, follow the KB article below.

Follow the KB I linked in my previous post.  Your issue has to do with the history queue folder location.

when <administrator> in registry is changed in <username> emails are still not attached in history

we dont have the file not found error
