We recently created remote databases using ACT 2011. I am having an issue where my remote databases aren't synchronizing attachment files in word with the parent database. I also get an error when try to view an attachment in the history- it says "There was an error opening the attachment. It may be deleted by another user or been created on a database that does not synchronize attachments". ( the file was edited on the parent database, but the attachment was previously created before the synchronization set up.)
So, I read in the help section of ACT: After a remote database is created, you cannot change the synchronize supplemental files or attachments options. You must re-create the remote database.
Is there a way I can view if the supplemental files or attachments options was selected when the database was created? I want to be sure this is definately our issue before we re-create the RDB with that option selected.
