sql folder 100gb can I shrink it?

Hello I just noticed one of my users has a 100gb sql act folder. I have act premium 2011. Does anyone know if there is a trick to shrink it ? Or should I just do a clean install. Thanks.

Specifically which folder are you looking at?  what tools are you using to view this?

the ACT database is in an alf and adf file.

The full path of the folder is

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.ACT7\MSSQL\Log

there is a big error log and lots of little log files.  I think these are transaction log files to roll back transactions. Would this logs go away if I run act backup on that machine? or is theere a way to limit this transaction log files?
